Organic Agricultural Research Institute (ÖMKI)
Korinna Varga graduated in 2012 with a degree in Communication and media sciences, then in 2015 with an English degree in agricultural engineering, both at Szent István University in Gödöllő.
Since 2015 she has been working actively in the organic farming sector. First, she worked on sustainability and agricultural communication, and was the marketing communication and PR coordinator for the Organic Agricultural Research Institute (ÖMKI). Then, in 2019, she received a master’s degree in environmental policy at the Central European University and since then she has been working as a researcher at ÖMKI. She specializes in agro-ecology, domestic and EU agricultural and environmental policy, as well as the opportunities of the circular economy model of the primary production sector serving the biomass-based economy. Besides, she has also been coordinating EU-funded international research projects since 2017.
