A BCSDH, tagvállalatainak vezetőivel közösen, a következő két ajánlást fogalmazta meg, amely segíthet az üzleti szférának megtenni a fenntartható életmód kapcsán kitűzött célok eléréséhez szükséges lépéseket:

KÖRFORGÁSOS GAZDASÁG PLATFORM LÉTREHOZÁSA
A körforgásos gazdaságban rejlő üzleti lehetőség kiaknázása érdekében szükség van a vállalatok, a kormányzat és a tudományos szféra összefogására. A folyamat első és legfontosabb lépése a tudás és a tapasztalatok megosztása, melynek segítésére a BCSDH és együttműködő partnerei körforgásos gazdaság platformot hoznak létre.

Egyelőre alacsony azon fogyasztók, vásárlók aránya, akik hajlandóak és képesek is a fenntarthatóbb alternatívát választani mindennapjaik során. Környezetterhelő, nem kiegyensúlyozott életmód jellemző. Bár vannak már fenntartható termékek és szolgáltatások, azok általában szűk körnek, magas áron elérhetőek csak. A fogyasztói információk nem adnak hatékony támpontot a felelős döntéshozatalhoz, ráadásul bizalmatlanság is van azokkal szemben. Ugyanakkor a megfelelő mértékű kereslet kialakításával és kialakulásával tudjuk biztosítani, hogy a fenntartható üzleti megoldások piaci alapon is terjedjenek, fennmaradjanak, fejlődjenek.
