Ms. Nagy was technological development technologist and head of laboratory at Bekes County Water Authority (now: Alföldvíz Zrt.) for almost 10 years. Since May 2011, she represents the interests of the Hungarian Water Utility Association (MaVíz) and mediates the industry’s core values as secretary general. The Hungarian Water Utility Association is a civil society organisation based, independent, professional advocacy group of Hungarian water and sewer service organizations and related water industry, commerce and educational institutions.

Ms. Nagy is member of the Hungarian Hydrological Society, secretary of the Hungarian Academy of Science Water Supply – Sewerage Commission and editor of the Vízmű Panoráma journal. Moreover, she is member of the Stockholm Industry Water Award (SIWA) decision board, which was established by the Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI), the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD). The SIWA is yearly awarded on the Stockholm World Water Week.
