Ms. Antal graduated in dietitian (BSc) from the University of Pécs Medical School and received her sociology (MA) degree from Eötvös Loránd University of Budapest, in 2001. She began her carrier as hospital dietitian in the city of Győr, then worked as coordinator of a World Bank sponsored public health project, called ”Szívbarát program” (Heart Healthy Nutrition Project). She was dietitian representative at the European Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism (ESPEN) for two years. In 2005, she became president of the Hungarian Dietetic Association (HDA). After resignation from the presidency of HDA in 2012, she continued working for HDA as secretary general until May 2015. Since 2015, she is scientific director of TÉT Platform Association and associate research fellow at the European Hydration Institute since 2013. She takes part in EDUvital Non-Profit Health Education Society’s work as member of the Scientific Advisory Board. She is mentor of the 50 talented young Hungarians program. Furthermore, she is frequently published in professional and lay media, appears in informative television and radio programmes, and printed press. She is often invited guest at local and international professional conferences. She speaks English and German.
