Judit is a co-founder of the Heroes of Responsible Dining Foundation. For the last 10 years she and her team have been trying to persuade the Hungarian public to focus not only on health but also on sustainability issues when setting up their weekly menu. She has had the opportunity to take part in awareness-raising campaigns such as Hungary’s “superfood” Map or the Straw-Free August – an event that has been running successfully for years.
Judit also plays a major role in developing and disseminating Sustainable Restaurant and the Sustainable Cafe Certifications. The purpose of the certifications is to recognize and motivate those restaurants that are constantly working on reducing their eco-footprint.
