Mr. Kriza graduated from the Budapest University of Economic Science (now: Corvinus University of Budapest) in 1992, then received his graduate degree in European Studies from the College of Europe in Belgium.
He began his profession carrier in the area of corporate finance at Innofinance Bank, followed by his work as an auditor at Moores Rowland’s office in Brighton. After his return to Budapest, he joined the Nomura Investment Bank’s corporate finance team at which he focused on the privatisation of telecom companies.
From 1996, he worked as a lobbyist at EPPA international consulting in Brussels and Budapest, then established his own consulting firm in 1999, of which he was CEO until 2010. In 2005, the Business Council for Sustainable Development in Hungary (BCSDH) was established as his initiative (it was founded as an association in 2007) and Mr. Kriza was director of BCSDH until 2011. In 2013, he became chairman of the Foundation for Circular Economy and he is ongoing Hungarian representative of EPEA Switzerland GmbH, a Cradle-to-Cradle design assessment and consulting company. He is also member of the professional advisory group of the National Council for Sustainable Development. He speaks English, French and German.
