Land and water – two natural resources in which Hungary seems to be rich. However, the risks arising from climate change, variable rainfall distribution and certain agricultural practices are creating challenges for employees across the entire agricultural sector who must work to preserve that wealth into the future. We have developed a complex system which involves the most influential of those concerned in terms of agricultural manufacturers and their operations. Thanks to this program, we can share our knowledge and experience and disseminate soil-friendly farming methods. Thus, our goal is to strengthen the competitiveness of domestic agriculture. In the first two year round, producers who represent 70,000 hectares of arable area joined up. Not only their expertise, but their profits have increased. Meanwhile, soil degradation processes have been reduced and soil fertility is now stagnating but will improve within a few decades. Rainwater seeps into the soil and becomes available to plants, which reduces the climate-related risks of agricultural production.

A Contivo program egy komplex technológia- és szerviz-szolgáltatás az árutermelő mezőgazdasági termelők számára. Alapja a talajkímélő mezőgazdasági módszerekre való áttérés támogatása, terjesztése; a szántóföldi növénytermesztés hatékonyságának és jövedelmezőségének növelése. A programmal elérhetővé teszünk hasznos szakmai ismereteket, amelyek segítik a termelékenység növekedését, de egyúttal fenntarthatósági célokat is szolgálnak. Összességében egy tudásmegosztó, együtt gondolkodó, inspiráló platform, amely a hazai mezőgazdaság versenyképességét hivatott javítani, fenntartható megoldások implementálásával.

A termelőkkel közös technológia fejlesztés során a Syngenta visszajelzést kap a cég termékeiről és a valódi igényeknek és lehetőségeknek megfelelően tudjuk fejleszteni. Stabil, hosszú távú vevői kapcsolatok lehetőségét adja a platform.

Results

A termelői profit is növekedett és a termelők szakismeretei is. A Contivo termelői csoport megosztja egymással a tapasztalatait, jó mezőgazdasági gyakorlatát. Az első két évben 70.000 hektár szántóföldnyi területet képviselő termelői kör csatlakozott. Társadalmi, környezeti eredményként csökkennek a talajpusztulási folyamatok, a talaj termékenysége fennmarad, majd néhány évtized alatt javul is. A csapadékvíz a talajba szivárog és onnan felvehető a növények számára, ami csökkenti a mezőgazdasági termelés klímakockázatát – ezek mellesleg az európai irányelvekkel is megegyeznek. Mindezen eredményeket kísérleti módszeres kutatás támasztja alá, mely a talajra gyakorolt és a talaj vízháztartására gyakorolt hatásainak mérését jelenti. Ily módon figyelemmel követjük a fejlődést, s az eredményeket a termelőkkel is megosztjuk.
