Folprint is also experiencing the problem of employee shortages caused by a lack of talent supply in the printing industry. The goal of maintaining our labour force is taking on day-to-day priority status, and motivating employees is a permanent job. As we have a small number of workers, we can be more flexible about changing situations than bigger companies. Flexibility is the key to success.

We give employees the opportunity to have a part-time job if the nature of duties allows this (primarily office-workers). We also give them the opportunity to do home-office work, depending on the quantity of work. Throughout the whole year, and especially during summer, we use student work, which is adapted to both company and students’ needs.

We use a system of allocated cumulative working hours that creates more flexible worktime for our colleagues.

These measures can significantly contribute to reducing staff turnover and can strengthen employee commitment.
