2009-ben a Nespresso elindította Ecolaboration™ nevű átfogó fenntarthatósági-innovációs programját, amely magában foglalja a fenntartható kávé-beszerzés megvalósítását, a kapszulák újrahasznosítását, és az energia-hatékony kávégépek fejlesztését. Magyarországon 2012 óta gyűjtjük vissza a használt alumínium kávékapszulákat üzleteinkben, valamint 2017 óta futárszolgálatunk segítségével. Az alumíniumkapszulák hazai termékek alapanyagaként, a kávézacc pedig komposztálás útján hasznosul újra.

Mi a megoldás?

A felnőtt lakosság jelentős százaléka fogyaszt kávét a mindennapjai során, melynek jelentős környezeti hatása van.

A Nespresso felhasználóbarát alumínium kávékapszuláit milliók használják nap mint nap, így a vállalat a tevékenységéért felelősséget vállalva ingyenes használtkapszula-gyűjtőtasakot kínál fogyasztóinak, valamint ezek megtelésekor visszaveszi őket és gondoskodik újrahasznosításukról.

Magyarországon 2012 óta gyűjtjük a használt kapszulákat üzleteinkben, 2017-től kezdve pedig futárszolgálatunk segítségével vásárlóink a megrendeléseik kézbesítésekor, otthonukból is, egyszerűen és kényelmesen visszaküldhetik használt kapszuláikat.

A kapszulákat világszerte speciális újrahasznosító központokban dolgozzák fel: a kávézaccot komposztálás útján hasznosítják újra, míg a kávékapszulákból bekerülve a hazai alumíniumgyártás körforgásába, új alumínium termékek készülnek.

Célunk, hogy 2020-ig a használt alumíniumkapszulák visszagyűjtési kapacitását világszerte 100%-ra bővítsük, lehetővé téve az eladott kávékapszulák teljes újrahasznosítását.

Mi az üzleti kapcsolódás?

A leadott alumínium kávékapszulákat feldolgozó partnerünk a megfelelő eljárással és szakértelemmel dolgozza fel és hasznosítja újra. Az újrahasznosított alumínium nagykereskedőkön keresztül bekerül a hazai alumíniumgyártás körforgásába. Az újrahasznosított alumíniumból pedig mindennapi használati tárgyak, de akár népszerű, világszerte ismerte márkájú szemüvegkeretek is készülhetnek.

Eredmények és hatás

Jelenleg az eladott kávékapszulák 80%-át újra tudjuk hasznosítani, világszerte 14 000 Nespresso gyűjtőpont található, valamint 30 ország rendelkezik újrahasznosítási programmal.
