Fő célunk a vizek mennyiségi és minőségi védelme, a vízikörnyezet állapotának megőrzése, javítása. Személyesen is izgalmas számomra a csapadékvíz hasznosítás kérdése: előttünk van egy kvázi eltékozolt természeti erőforrás, amelynek hasznosítása jóformán infrastrukturális kérdés csak, de egyáltalán nem tekintünk így rá. Egyre inkább kihívást fog jelenteni a szélsőséges csapadékeloszlás és a várhatóan fokozódó vízfogyasztással kapcsolatos költségek. A korszerű csapadékgazdálkodás nem csak segíti elkerülni a csapadékvíz okozta károkat, de még további hasznosítási lehetőségeket is feltárhat, miközben megóvjuk a vízi élőhelyeket is.

Mi a megoldás?

Napjaink egyik visszatérő környezeti problémája, hogy nagyintenzitású csapadék utakat, kerteket, lakásokat önt el, jelentős károkat okozva. Ez ellen egységes táj- és erdőgazdálkodással, belvízvédelemmel és a korszerű települési csapadékvíz-gazdálkodás eszközeivel küzdhetünk. Ilyen intézkedés lehet például a vízáteresztő felületek, burkolatok arányának növelése a településen belül; decentralizált csapadékvíz-tározók építésével a vizek késleltetett bevezetése; belvízelvezető és települési csapadékvíz elvezető árokrendszerek, átereszek helyreállítása, tisztítása; illetve vizes élőhelyek megtartása, újak létesítése. Ezek a megoldások újszerű megközelítést igényelnek, hiszen a kapacitásokat és megoldásokat is nem a megszokott módon kell kitalálni, megtervezni és véghez vinni. Ráadásul a csapadék jelenleg egy kihasználatlan természeti erőforrás, egyszerűen csak átengedjük infrastruktúránkon, ami ráadásul jelentős költségeket is jelent, ahelyett, hogy különböző hasznosítási formákat alkalmaznánk.

Mi az üzleti kapcsolódás?

A BDL által fejlesztett üzleti szolgáltatások a tervezéstől, tanácsadáson keresztül a megvalósításig segíti szervezetek, települések számára a leggazdaságosabb és környezeti szempontból is leginkább előremutatóbb megoldást kitalálni. A kihívás abban van, hogy a környezetvédelmi trendek azonosításánál és figyelembe vételénél megfelelően segíteni tudjuk a csapadékvíz kihívásaival küszködőket, s így kölcsönösen a hosszú távú eredményesség jegyében döntsünk a megvalósítás során.

Eredmények és hatás

Sopron és Budakeszi városának csapadékvíz elvezetési terveit a BDL készítette, ahol kézzelfogható már, hogy a szélsőséges csapadékvíz érkezésekor kevesebb a környezeti, társadalmi és gazdaság kár. Nem üzleti, szakmai tevékenységünk során, mint a vízszakmai szervezetek munkáiban vagy akár az Action 2020 Magyarország folyamatában való aktív közreműködés során pedig igyekszünk a vízhasznosság és környezettudatos vízgazdálkodás szemléletét terjeszteni, hogy ennek eredményeképpen mindenki lehetőségként tekintsen a csapadékra, s ne pedig problémaként kizárólag.
