Az olaj- és gázipari alapanyagok kitermelése és feldolgozása, a legenergiaintenzívebb iparágak közé tartozik. Energiafelhasználásunk hatékonyságának folyamatos javítása nem csupán a MOL versenyképességét növeli, de hozzájárul az erőforrásokkal való fenntartható gazdálkodás és a környezet állapotának megőrzése szemlélet terjesztéséghez is. Ezáltal a jövő generációja számára óvjuk a természeti kincseket. A MOL-csoport éppen ezért kiemelt figyelmet fordít az üvegházhatású gázok (ÜHG) kibocsátásának csökkentésére és az energiahatékonyság fejlesztésére.

Mi a megoldás?

A MOL downstream üzletágában 2015-ben egy három éves komplex hatékonyság fejlesztési programot indított Next Downstream Program néven, amely számos energiahatékonysági akciót is magába foglal, hozzájárulva ezzel a fenntarthatóságunk fejlesztéséhez.

Ezek közé tartoznak például a kemencék hatékonyságát célzó fejlesztési projektek. Ezek révén egy füstgáz elemző innovatív technológia alkalmazásával optimalizálták a tüzelés közben felszabadult energiát. Egy új, hangolható diódalézeres spektroszkópián alapuló oxigén elemző kiépíttetésének köszönhetően a tüzeléstechnikai paraméterek optimális szinten tartását is sikerült elérnünk, és így a felhasznált földgáz/fűtőgáz mennyiségét és a CO2 kibocsátást is csökkentettük 2-3%-kal.

Hőintegráció és hővisszanyerés fokozására hőcserélő beépítési, átalakítási és tisztítási projekteket indítottunk több üzleti területen. Alapanyag előmelegítő hőcserélőket tisztítottunk ki a nagyleállási ciklusok között valamint átstrukturáltuk az előmelegítéshez felhasznált anyagáramokat. Hulladékhő hasznosításra is építettünk be új hőcserélőket.

Épületeink rekonstrukciós munkái közül pedig energiahatékonyság fokozására valósítottunk meg projekteket, hőközpontok átépítésével, felújításával.

Mi az üzleti kapcsolódás?

A MOL működési költségének egyik legjelentősebb és meghatározó eleme az energiaköltség. A program megvalósítása az energiafelhasználás és a környezetterhelés csökkenését eredményezik, ami több területen is jelent költségmegtakarítást. A fejlesztés hozzájárul a MOL versenyképességének javításához és a kibocsátásinak csökkentéséhez.

Eredmények és hatás

Az egyik legfőbb eredményünk, hogy az innovatív technológiákat széleskörűen alkalmazzuk. Ezen technológiákat az üzemeltetőkkel is megismertetjük, ezáltal fejlesztve az energiatudatos szemléletmódot, gondolkodásmódot közvetett hatáskörünkben, értékláncunkban is. 2015-ben az energiahatékonysági programjaink keretében mintegy 500 000 GJ primer energiát és 28 ezer tonna CO2-t sikerült megtakarítanunk a magyarországi downstream termelés üzletágban.
